Yogyakarta is a sanskrit words. “Yogya” means proper or suitable and “Karta” means prosperous, and some belief this name was derived from indian city of Ayodhya, the birth place of Rama.

    Try to visit Borobudur on May when there is a Buddhist holy day. Monks from all over the world gather there for a prayer, or watch the Borobudur ballet šŸ™‚
